Running the numbers

I re-did my BMI out of curiosity. I'm down nearly two full points.
I had my body fat percentage rechecked. It's down 1.4%.
I never really took any before measurements I'm going to have to look through my sewing journal for a rough idea but my husband keeps mentioning how much smaller I am around the middle. High praise from my quiet guy.
The past 141 days have been full of relearning how to eat, how to think about food, how to feel about situations when running to food isn't an option.
It's really amazing how much I have changed this year. I feel better about me because I have learned that I can do it. I can be in control of myself. I can be mindful when I eat. I can go the extra mile when I want to splurge on a snack and it will be okay.
Each week has had a day that left me wondering "Why bother?" but somehow by the grace of God, I just kept pushing.
I'm almost at my goal for the end of November. My plan is to try to maintain as we travel to the States for December and January. I'm afraid of the possibilities but I'm already making a list of friends who have exercise equipment that I can borrow.
