The Pain is Gone...Now What?

Thursday, November 21, 2019

I think my troubles were the result of something my rheumatologist suggested I try. I haven't used it for a few days and today is the first day I feel normal! I'm not going to use it again until after Thanksgiving...I don't want to feel miserable that day!!

In the meantime, I will start - or shall I say, resume - a healthy habit. Before my injury I used to work out 5 / 6 days per week. Since my limited mobility there have been no workouts other than physical therapy. Today, I will make an effort to do SOMETHING every day, even when I go to physical therapy. If I'm not doing well I'll do a little mild stretching or crunches or something. Anything!

Cherie: Modern medicine can be wonderful, it can also be a pain (both literally and figuratively). I am going through something similar so I totally understand. I hope the therapy is all you really need to get back to being active once again.
