Off on an idea again

Thursday, November 21, 2019

I should stop getting ideas. Today it caused a lot of seam ripping out and an idea for a really fun Christmas quilt. This is actually a pattern for a Christmas card holder. But I left the big pocket off the bottom and decided I'd much rather turn it into a quilt. Once I figured out how to make the tree I ashamed to say I needed the seam ripper. Won't be making those mistakes again.

Had some trouble with my eating today too. The other day at the store I found some old fashioned Sponge Candy. I should not have opened that bag until the holidays...bit I did and ate several pieces of it today. Without my teeth for about 9 years I couldn't eat it and now I can. Luckily for me I rarely go to that store. I was being lazy and it's the closest one so I stopped there. Won't be doing that for a while.

Thank fulls
1. a head brimming with ideas and not enough hands to do them all
2. my daughter sent me a quilt magazine subscription for a present
3. Chaos is sometimes OK

Fran good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I hope it's quick and you recover fast. Koffee have fun on your adventure. And all my other Spark friends I hope your having a good time. I'm never going to be the thin person I thought I needed to be but at least I'm making more healthy choices that bad ones like today.

I agree, chaos can be good but it seems I find it way to often. I bet you find some beautiful patterns in the magazine. I remember subscribing to a counted cross stitch magazine and loved them .Finally got too many and they sit at our MN. home for the winter. That quilt piece will make a lovely quilt!
