The Hardest Part is Deciding To Just Do It.!!!

We can all do what it takes to make good lifestyle changes when "we are Really Ready" to make up our minds. That is the hardest part. Deciding To Just Do It.!!!

I learned that the hard way "You Have To Be Really Ready BODY, MIND, and SOUL" to do "Any Hard Changes" in your life.

For example, I quit smoking 2 years ago on Nov.10, 2017 Cold Turkey (that is the only way I Could Do It, Cold Turkey I mean). That was not the first time that I had "Tried" to stop smoking.

That was between the years of 1993 and 2017. That's 24 years of "Trying" and I didn't even start smoking until I was old enough to know better, age 38. emoticon

These are a few things I "Tried" Nicotine Gum and Patches, Chantics, and Hypnosis. None of that did any good until I WAS READY. Nov. 10, 2017, is when I learned "YOU" "Have To Be Really Ready BODY, MIND, and SOUL". No One Else Can Decide for YOU.!.!.! No matter what the change is!

I totally agree. i tried quitting in my 20s and 30s and was finally successful in my 40s. DH followed a year later. I used to buy 12 cartons of cigarettes at the start of each month, no joke. I had become a chain smoker at 2.5 - 3 packs a day. The store I went to was very accommodating but amazed at how much we smoked a month and a few times asked if we resold the cigarettes since they were a bit cheaper than most places. That was back in the late 90s. I can NOT even fathom dishing out that kind of money with the cost of cigarettes today. So glad we quit when we did for more reasons than one.
