Don't Give Up 12/2

When faced with a challenge, sometimes you have to think smarter and adjust course. But often what it takes is sheer determination and perseverance. It never hurts to be reminded that failure and rejection are minor speed bumps on the road to success.
For the Month of December, I decided to blog each day on a ‘famous’ person who failed but never gave up. I hope everyone can use these as examples on why we should never give up on our weight loss journey and use them as a bit of inspiration to us all.
While you struggle day-in and day-out towards the fulfillment of your hopes and your dreams, know this: “If there is no struggle there is no progress.”
Person 1 - Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley only ever failed one class and that was music.
In 1954, Jimmy Denny, manager of the Grand Ole Opry, fired Elvis Presley after one performance. He told Presley, "You ain't goin' nowhere, son. You ought to go back to drivin' a truck." Elvis didn't take that advice. He kept on going becoming one of the best selling artists of all time.
