Feeling The Effects Of A Long Day...
Tuesday, December 03, 2019
🧹 Started the day off with a walk around the block after dropping off D23 at work. A neighbor was shoveling his leaves. They were actually leaves that had blown in his yard from the park. He said the leaf truck was doing a second round and today was our day. I broomed the last leaves in our yard onto our tarp and dumped on the street. It took several trips. Was happy to be done with that job in an hour flat.
📚 Drove D21 to college for one class and stayed on campus with D12 in the library to do homeschooling. For that hour and a half we studied for a general science test, completed a dictation lesson for writing, and worked through some basic math problems together.
🧪 Next up was driving to pick up D15 at chemistry and finance co-op and driving some more to return home.
🥞 I whipped up a batch of white wheat waffles with blueberries for dinner.
💊 Drove to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and picked up a few groceries we had run out of.
🎶 Then it was another drive back to college so D21 could go to an honors recital for her concert attendance requirement as a music major. I enjoyed listening to the vocalists and instrumentalists. I even noted that one of the songs might be a perfect audition piece for D15’s next audition in the spring.
📖 Finally got around to reading today’s devotion, too.
I’ve run out of putter...need to call it a night.
