2019 Reflections... 2020 Rejuvination!

The end of every year brings reflections.

What were the positives? What were the negatives? What could I have done differently?

2019 was not a good year for me overall. After having a successful 2018, I got sloppy, and I gained back 23 lbs of the 80 lbs. I lost. Let me tell you, it's very hard for me to write that. It's been difficult to accept that back sliding happened, and that I let food win more this year than myself. In the past, when this happened, I would quit Spark and disappear. I'm telling you, had I made the choice to go MIA, I think I would have gained back more.

But I stayed. I stayed because of the challenges I take part in. Despite my inability to be consistent, the challenges PUSH ME to try my best. Even though my best didn't make the mark this year, I know I benefited from being involved because I made lasting friendships, learned valuable information, and had extra incentive to exercise.

What challenges you ask? The 5% Seasonal Challenges. For 8 weeks, travel the globe with a group of about 40 members, while you race to the destinations! How do you move your team's plane? Exercise!!! How do you improve your health? With LGTL!!! (Living the Good Life). Each team has a theme, and is supportive in different ways. But we all have a common goal: TO LOSE WEIGHT!

The 5% Challenges are currently signing up members NOW for our Winter Challenge. It begins January 4, 2020. Who's in????
