My mouse died

Sunday, December 08, 2019

Last night (Friday) I was on the computer and the mouse was really acting up -- it has been for awhile, but this was even more than usual. Then it just quit working altogether....

I had recognized the signs so I knew the mouse was on it's last legs. So this morning I called my sister and asked if BIL would have any free time and could he take me to London Drugs to get a new mouse.

Sis needed to pick up a few groceries so she came with him and we went to get the mouse. I told the salesman that this mouse lasted longer than any other mouse, about 4 years. Usually they only last 2 to 3 years..... So he showed me a "gaming" mouse. He said it's a little more robust to stand up to gaming, and it wasn't really all that expensive, only $20....

After we got the mouse, they took me over to Save on Foods so I could get some hamburger that was on sale. Sis wanted so as well so she can make meatballs for when her kids are home over Christmas week. I want to make burger patties as well as some meatballs (we bake them to let all the fat drip down into a tray) and I have been craving meatloaf so I plan on making a couple of mixes to cook up later. Sis saw some very large head cauliflower on sale, so she got 2 of them. I had recently seen a nice recipe for making pizza crust using cauliflower, so I decided to get some to try that. I also got some tomatoes and cucumber. I need to find my cucumber salad recipe because I really like that.....

After we finished at the grocery store, they brought me home, and BIL hooked up the new mouse. Yeah, no more freezing up on me.... Then they were off to go to a discount store closer to where they live and get back home before the snow got any worse.

Now I better get busy looking for that recipe.

Night all....

WhenI saw your heading I thought you had a pet mouse that died. It took a few sentences of reading to realize it was a computer mouse. Glad no animal was harmed on your blog, ha ha

Good night friend. I'm so glad to be computer savvy and know what a mouse is. When I first saw your title on this blog, I was about to reply; "So sorry for your loss" when I realized this was not about a furry pet. You had a good day...wonderful! emoticon emoticon emoticon
