may not be the Christmas I want

Sunday, December 08, 2019

good morning- sitting here drinking my coffee. DS came home last night. He and his wife having problems as usual. I thought things were getting better or at least I hoped. DS informed us that his wife is not letting his daughter come to cookie decorating or Christmas. DIL is spending lots of money again and has not got him anything for Christmas. DS saw all the presents under the tree. He said I can always bring the presents home. DH said no we want to see GD open them up. DS is not happy - but these are his choices. So unless a miracle happens, we will not have our darling GD (2) during the Christmas season. I am praying for this miracle. My GD needs the peace in our house. emoticon emoticon I am not going to let this news stop my progress in my life plan. emoticon

emoticon Sympathy and compassion. I have a similar situation with my DS. His wife decided to hate us from the moment we met her (a few days before the wedding). They were supposed to move back here (the US) but have not done any of the paperwork and it now seems clear she has no intention. of immigrating. A year ago DS told us the marriage was struggling; now she is pregnant. DS just wants 'everyone to get along'. She isn't willing. My hear breaks every time I think of them and the GK I will probably never get to know or be part of its life. Wishing you your miracle.

So sorry things are so difficult w/your daughter-in-law. **SIGH** and it's really your DS and especially your granddaughter who are stuck in the middle. But all you can do is just what you're doing . . . . listening to your DS and prayers for a miracle!
