Well, we got up early and headed out to see My friend. I took her a bag of my rice. I ordered 6 bags of Charleston Gold Rice. I apparently made and error in my order and duplicated it. I cannot get this locally as none of the stores carry it. Amazon does not carry it, but it has a really great taste. I had read about it several years back when the guys were working with the original rice grown in South Carolina in the 1800s. They grow it and they process and ship it. I had a bag given to me as a gift and fell in love with the rice taste. Different from the rice you purchase from the mass marketers. She and I agree that your health is controlled by the foods that you eat. We eat whole real food. The best quality that we can purchase. The non harmonic meats, organic when possible and purchase from the local growers at the farmers market in our area. We purchase as much heirloom veggies as possible, This rice is an heirloom rice. I get my dried beans from Rancho Gordo and they are mostly non GMO. As far away as I can stay from GMO the happier I am. I truly believe it is working for Hubby and I. At our age we a re not on medications that most people are on. If the pharmaceutical company were waiting on us to make a profit, they would go bankrupt. My new doctor turned and looked at me when she read my blood test she asked me to take a baby aspirin a day to make her feel good. Blood, kidney, liver, heart, cholesterol, thyroid not diabetes or prediabetes at my age. Our pharmacy purchases for the year are minimal. Usually less than $200 etc. I had rather spend it on good quality food that we enjoy

Good job on staying away from GMO's and meds. My doctor used those exact words "please take a baby aspirin to make me feel better" lol
