I want to say thank-you to all who commented on my blogs with words of encouragement and understanding. It really does mean so much to me. My family is far from being supportive or even caring.
I would ask that everyone keep Gary's girl friend in their prayers. She was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after with a life threatening kidney infection. Gary thought she had the flu as she had body aches, which really was her kidney, fever and throwing up. Gary was here on Wednesday to help me do something and we were on the way to my Mom's when his cell rang. I heard him say what hospital and that he would be there asap. I thought it was his Dad, because he has been ill. Gary didn't say anything, turned around and dropped me off at my house. When I talked to him the next day, he told me it was his girl friend. She has a very large kidney stone and it cause a life threatening infection. They had to operate and remove all the infection, but didn't go after the stone. They will do that in a couple weeks. I don't understand why but that is the story. She is at Gary's now recuperating. He told me last night that she is still doing a family Christmas. I think she is nuts. I had the same thing happen to me with my gall bladder in 1986. They went to cut me and it exploded. I ended up with a large scar from exploratory surgery. Back then I was in the hospital for 10 days.
Only 3 days until Christmas. On one hand I ask where did this year go, and on the other, it wasn't a very good year for my family. Paul, and then Aunt Joan dying. I hope 2020 is going to be a kind year.
I certainly wish everyone a safe, pleasant holiday. I hope Santa brings you want you want.
