Just a rant about my thoughts and goals: in the process.

Thursday, December 26, 2019

Hello, well the day after and the damage wasn't too bad. I enjoyed cooking yesterday for my family and made some lunches with leftovers for the freezer. My son is real happy about it as he is a single dad and this makes it easier for him when he works. Voila!! ready to go. As for my house, there are leftovers for my daughter and I and the ham and turkey make healthy go to's for the protein requirement per day. I don't think I put on any pounds over December which is good. Basically, I was too busy to eat much. I have to admit in the month of November I felt better. I was eating meals with an abundant amount of vitamins and had more energy. So, I may go back to that. Today, I have attempted to get more fruit and vegetables in.

My kitties had a treat this morning as they were fed a turkey and giblet pate from Fancy Feast. They were more than thrilled. Can't forget them at Christmas time either.

Have been drinking chamomile tea with honey to calm my nerves. There will be lots of changes in the new year and it is creating some anxiety in me. Romans 8:28 rings through my head and Matthew 6 is a reminder but I still have some concerns. I've been saying
"bring it on!!!" I'm ready for what comes and am glad I have the Lord in my life. For some reason it helps.

I do believe I can lose a few pounds in the next year but I'm not pressuring myself. However, I seem to do the best I can in whatever I do.

I have had a productive day so far this morning. I managed to get some things in the kitchen cleaned up. The toaster oven, which I use most often, had a good cleaning, as well as the coffee pot and microwave. I sprayed the oven with oven cleaner which will soak and will be on the agenda tomorrow for cleaning. Tomorrow, I might manage to get some laundry done too. Meanwhile, my grandson will be home from school tomorrow and I will get some time with him while his Dad works. Plus, I finished some tax paperwork that was procrastinated on and its off in the mail already.

Yep!! spring cleaning came early for me and I probably will do some other things today to get them out of the way. Time to stock up on some cleaners in the next few days as I have run out of my preferred ones.

May your goals be accomplished in the manner you desire and thank you for listening to my rant about my thoughts. I appreciate all of you and hopefully your New Year's resolutions will be what you desire and achieve. I have a few ideas but I need to put careful thought into them. So, I wish you a really nice day and more later.

emoticon emoticon emoticon So glad to have your blogs back. December is always a busy time, seems like no matter how you try to simplify, we just end up going in too many different directions. Praying whatever is coming at you in the new year will be a smooth transition and you the blessings of it will show themselves sooner vs later. Praying Romans 8:28 with you my friend.

It may quiet down now that most of the holidays are behind us, and you will have more time for yourself, planning and preparing the kind of meals that make you feel best.
Way to go on the cleaning! Feels good to accomplish so much.
Wishing you a wonderful new year.
