2019 down and looking into 2020

Friday, December 27, 2019

I attempted to update my About Me and it failed! Haha! I have crazy food allergies and since my last update I also joined Noom and am learning about the psychology of choices and food. I have stopped eating the food that has been hurting me. I am not so hard on myself. I dropped 29# and hit my first goal weight of 160#, and a new goal of 155. I’ve received one spinal injection for my herniated disk and am about 60% better. I have one more semester of face-to-face classes and 1.5 hr drive then I student teach in my neighborhood. Then next Dec I’ll be graduated!! I have been here since 2012 (I think) and have struggled and struggled with my weight and health. Once I joined Noom in addition to here, worked both systems, and STILL didn’t lose weight I knew something was amiss. PLEASE get tested for allergies. You may not realize you’re experiencing symptoms until the food/allergens are gone. Just do it. And BE NICE to yourself. Don’t count on others or circumstances to make you happy. There isn’t any good result of “if this then I’ll be happy.” Only you can make you happy. Joy is found in the Lord but happiness is circumstantial.
