My To-Do List...

Wednesday, January 01, 2020

Many post about resolutions this time of year, that is cool if that is your thing. I however do not and just because it is a new year for me doesn't mean I need to start working on new goals. I make and meet my goals continually.
As for last year I met quite a few goals, some were made more recent than others and one in particular I had been chasing for over a decade! Here is an accomplished list and my current to-do list in no particular order:

Goals Met:
Hit a "normal" bmi...now this was a tad short lived BUT IT HAPPENED.
Ran my 30th Half Marathon
Signed up for another Full Marathon (maybe I won't be injured and I can train and complete it)
Took my gently used Louis Vuitton hand bag out (I felt so out of place with it)
Recovered from 2 skin removal surgeries and I could tie my shoe laces like an adult again!
Gained my mobility back after said surgeries.
Ran a new Half Marathon PR!
Discovered some injuries can only heal IF YOU STOP RUNNING!
Those are some highlights I can remember...oh yes, almost forgot this one, 11 years OF PROGRESS!

My To-Do Goal List:
Run 40 Half Marathons before I turn 40
Get a sub 5hr Full Marathon, (I want better but baby steps)
See and maintain my "normal" bmi
Improve my glutes and core muscles (they get blamed for most of my running injuries)
Increase my VO2 Max back to 44 or higher (where I was before my recent injury took training away from me)
Get my house organized
Get my house remodel of 10+ years completed!
Oh and do a sexy boudoir photo shoot

My to-do list could keep going but I am pretty sure you get the picture. I am just going to keep punching away at my list Half Marathon #31
