Some days things just don't come together, but that's okay. Other days they do. Trust the decisions that you've made. Modify that decision, and keep moving forward!
I made a decision to eat a low carb diet in order to help control Type 2 Diabetes. Over the Christmas vacation, I got off-track. I didn't eat all that many carbs, but somehow, my blood sugar levels went high, and I could not bring them down on my own. I felt overwhelmed.
I asked a SparkFriend for some help, and with a few changes, I'm back on track. I am thankful for the help of people who know a lot more than I do about the science of food and what it can do to your body. Science works! When I exercise consistently and eat the right foods, my blood sugar levels are lower.
I also take Metformin every day. I need the medication along with a healthy diet, exercise and drinking my water to keep my levels low. Trust me, it's worth the energy that it takes!
