Tuesday night my Crossfit coach was trying to coach me not to go too hard and too heavy my first day back. Again, it had been 6 weeks+ since my last workout. He warned me - "I know you can do it - but DON'T max yourself out on your first day back!"

Typically, my soreness doesn't start until the next day at the very soonest. Well...

I completely understand this meme now!

Yesterday, my shoulders were even worse. I had the time and the energy to get another workout in for the week - so I jumped on my exercise bike! I did a moderate 10k while watching Netflix. I didn't push myself super hard like I usually do in my workouts, but I figured it's better than sitting still watching tv. It definitely wasn't easy and I broke a sweat - so all good!

But you know what I think about that?

Tonight - back to the gym! Time to make myself sore for the weekend!

January Goals (Starting January 5th)
-No restaurant food - 3 for 3
-Alcohol no more than twice a week - 0 this week so far
-Workout 3 times a week - 2 this week so far
-64 oz of water a day - 3 for 3
