I.F. (Intermittent Fasting) 203 days to go

So things have been back on track for about 2 weeks now & going very well. I think I have found the right combination for me.

emoticon Intermittent Fasting at least 16/8


emoticon 1500 Calories Limit

emoticon 3x per week I go 3 miles of a combination of run/walk training for the trail runs

emoticon Ellipitical in 10 minute spurts as I can throughout the day

emoticon Working with my horses as I can a few times per week.

So, the good news is this has been very easy to do. Better energy, clearer brain, calmer mood



So the bad news is the derail I had back in late November added weight back on and pushed me up to 221.8, which is a few pounds higher than I was at in October emoticon

So, from the 221.8- I am now down to 216, so very far from the progress I wanted to have.

Intermittent fasting was a bit hard the first 3 to 5 days, though now I am totally loving it.

Considering the weight I was when I started Intermittent Fasting to what I am today, it is a minus 5.8 pounds in 17 days. Most of my cravings are completely gone. It is crazy because this is the week I would be having crazy chocolate cravings & I don't. At all.

emoticon Week one of half marathon training is done, and we are into week two and having to modify some, as Jim was in the ER for what we think was Lyme disease, follow up appointment on Tuesday. So neither one of us has gotten good sleep as he was having so many bad symptoms that we were both awake most of the night for about 3 days. I did hit the elliptical lightly today as he is feeling better. We are signed up for those races, so I don't know how well he will feel about training, or will this will go as this was to be a joint effort, I would hate to do it alone, though I think maybe my daughter would run with me, or my son would if they will transfer the entry to one of them if Jim cannot get over the aches and pains from this illness. He is feeling better today, antibiotics, though not quite himself yet.

Just wanted to check in. Life is good, you have to find the rainbows after the rain, I am just grateful that I was able to look up the symptoms and convince him to go get checked out.

* I may miss my exact goal by August 3rd, though I am still trying and I know that I will be feeling better by then, running trail runs and weighing a lot less. If the goal is not exactly met, that is okay, as there will be so much more accomplished by then.

***203 days to go. I am averaging minus -.3 pounds per day x 203 days would equal -62 pounds from now and that would equal 153 pounds which is still pretty darn close to goal.

I am keeping on keeping on & very happy with the combination that seems to be working for me
Time working with horses
1500 calories per day
16/8 Intermittent Fasting
3x per week of at a minimum of 3 miles of Run/walk/Run
