Yet another snow day...
Thursday, January 16, 2020
This is getting ridiculous. Yesterday I understand -- I had to get out in it and the road conditions were awful. Today though? A vast majority of the snow melted overnight when the warmer winds moved in and even my little forgotten side street is bare pavement. Judging from the campus web cams, even the campus and lots are cleared of snow. Yet, here we are with the third day of canceled classes.
I'm getting a bit stir crazy in the house, so may go elsewhere to work on homework later. Also annoyed because I know all this missed work will have to pile up on us later in the quarter. My ecology prof has been on top of things. He recorded lectures for the missed days and made it so we could turn in the assignments online, so no missed days there. We're two days behind in geology, so she's going to try and cram it all into a single lecture tomorrow. (Unless they close class because it's in the 40's and raining...)
Math, though. Not sure how we can make up that material. It's a jam packed schedule and I can't work ahead because without the lectures I'm not sure how to approach the current assignments. Ug.....
Plus, I keep having anxiety attacks. Actually, I think yesterday may have been my first full on panic attack, and it was awful. I got through it, took my meds, and slept 12 hours. Can't keep doing that either. Doctor appointment next week, thankfully.
Well, here's to another "snow" day, although it looks like most of it will be melted before lunch!
