Because I'm from Minnesota, I wanted to share a few fun things about living here in the Winter. I've lived here most of my life...am used to the cold, snow. & the storms.
It's nice to know our Winters don't last forever, so we can enjoy the other 3 seasons...but for now, I'm enjoying Winter!
Don't know how I missed this? it's great! Wonderful memes that apply to Montana as well! It makes us strong, survivor types with a dark sense of humor! Maybe the snow and cold are why we read so much! 360 days ago
I still live in MN but leave it for the Texan border town of McAllen for the winters. We have had our share of the cold and snow and now enjoy the warmth. It was hard for all my working yrs. to drive to work in the night when the plows are pulled from the roads for the night. Some tough drives then! Will be back in April hoping it doesn't snow like it did when we came back last spring. 369 days ago
I was born and raised in Minnesota. Just four years ago my husband I came to southern Texas for the winter. We love the no snow days and temps above freezing all the time. So we moved to Texas permanently, came back to Minnesota to get what we wanted of ours and headed back to Texas. We do not miss all the cold stormy weather of the winter by any means, but do remember all the ones we experienced growing up in the great state of Minnesota. We come back to visit our children during the summer when the weather is more to our liking. 369 days ago
I have lived in the Washington DC area for 44 years and I still do not like the cold and snow. That shows I am still a California girl at heart as I was born there and lived there until I came to Washington DC area to work for the government. I am glad you can handle the winters in Minnesota, 369 days ago
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Stay warm, Barb! Loved the pics, especially the pup and fire hydrant! Yikes! Balmy 71 degrees here in Louisiana today, but we have family in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Washington state, so I GET IT! Hugs! 370 days ago
