3 main small victories I can think of today (& was having a hard time, so may start logging 3 daily so it's more of a summary of the week)
Stairs: I continue to be able to move more easily up stairs; only had to do the grasp and pull a little this week, unlike a fortnight ago, it was EVERY time! (& was winded from it then! && it pissed me off!!)
Mellow Attitude: wasn't particularly concerned with 'work'-ing my program, was more just what I was gonna do, especially toward end of week (there was a little work with cooking on Monday, because I was bound and determined to bring back meatless Mondays for myself: I made
a light soup recipes.sparkpeo
& a very hearty bean entree recipes.sparkpeo
and fam and especially me ate them all week, finishing soup on Thursday and I had last of casserole yesterday.
I also baked some higher protein lemon blueberry muffins from a mix by _____ and ate them for breakfast and snacks. I'm wanting to try modifying some other recipes with protein powder, because I bought 2 of those great big containers of it in anticipation of 2020, when I found them on sale for 20% off.
As to water, I was mellow about getting 8 cups, hitting it some days, and being fine with being short others (I have 1-2 cups of BIG cups of latte daily, which I don't count) and usually add some herbs to my water, for flavor. It was actually the purpose of the soup, an easy, mellow way to get water, as part of a meal.
Lastly, I stayed WAY on top of my tracking, and did get a little fierce about not missing it. It kept me engaged on the other parts of the spark site also, probably doing much more than I would have otherwise, so that's good. What fell by the wayside because of that choice though was time on coding and writing. That'll have to be more balanced in the next week.
Looking forward to my weigh-in this week. May also figure out if I'm gonna join a gym too; only another couple of months of snow, and then it's hiking and gardening season!
