Nutrition Tracking, Guest & Dog Park

I've had a guest for a week. She has always been quite slim and fit and she likes desserts. During this time we ate out several times, had goodies with tea in the afternoons and desserts in the evenings. Aside from my usual duties, I made time to do things with her and have been less focused on my exercise and diet.

Today I am nutrition tracking again. It took the Winter 5% Challenge to get me back on track. In 2019 I tracked daily from January 1st to November 18, 2019 - quite good for a New Year's resolution. In November I was so busy and tired. I couldn't make time to sit down several times a day and enter my food. During the break I ate a little less just to be sure I was within my calorie range. Over the last 2 months I lost 10 pounds, which included Christmas. But it's time to get back at it. At TOPS yesterday I was up a fraction of a pound.

I do my own way of intermittent fasting. My choice is to eat breakfast at 8 AM, lunch anytime, and dinner at 5 PM. Of course it doesn't always work out that way, and I am usually not hungry in the evening.

For a long time I had been sleeping poorly. I decided to try something different. I stopped taking an kind of sleeping med and thought when I get tired enough I will sleep. After a week or so I started to sleep a little better and without meds, also I am going to bed earlier.

We went to the dog park after dropping off our guest at the airport. When I got home I ate simple foods to make it easy to enter on my tracker. Tonight is my sorority night, so I will take my apple slices and string cheese = 180 calories, and ignore the table of appies and desserts.
