lunch today: italian?

Had meat for the first time in a few days by choice. Ground turkey, kale with baby spinach cooked among it with sauce. Parmesan cheese was sprinkled on top. The spaghetti is so easy to come by these days and so inexpensive. I decided to have a cup even though I have spaghetti squash in the fridge. The squash would be a much better opportunity. The squash takes an hour to cook as the spaghetti noodles were already prepared and just needed to be warmed up. The squash will be used another day. I had diet cranberry juice to round out the meal. The juice actually had cranberry juice in it . This is a plus since it is good for your kidneys. I have to say I am full and could go a couple more hours without eating much. I don't like the juice that it was diet and the calories were around 500 because of the 1 cup of spaghetti noodles. I was craving the spaghetti though. I just have to watch calorie intake for the rest of the day.
I meal planned for the day and kept things pretty balanced. I will find out at the end of the day if I follow through and have one of those perfect nutritional days!! so, best wishes, and off I go to activities and responsibilities.
