Today is Friday! Yay! Today is also the last day of February. I'm excited for the new month and the new start. January has been a crazy month, full of stresses and just weird things going on. Through all that, I did have loss for the month, and that makes me very happy!
So, altogether since August, I've lost 34 lbs!
However....the weight loss is definitely slowing down. I have been yo yo ing up and down all month. Part of me wants to just give in and just maintain from now on but I'm not at my target goal weight range yet.
No plans really for this weekend. After the craziness of last weekend I plan to just relax and chill with family. We might go out with a friend this weekend if they're able, but other than that, not much.
This week I lost 1.8 lbs! I guess all the activity I had at the party last Sunday helped push the scale down! I attribute it to all the salads I've been eating as well. Why are cesaer salads so high calorie?? The other salads I make are less than 200 and the cesaer ones are always 300 minimum, argh!
This salad was so good too! Had it on Wednesday. It's an italian salad with a bit of lean chicken and turkey tossed in, very filling which is the best part! yum!
Lately, I've been trying new things. Since it's been warmer weather outside, I'll take the kids and baby out to play. I'll sit in the sun and just hang out with them. So nice!
I decided to try something new, rice cakes and egg whites lol. Sounds so bland....and it is. I wasn't a big fan of it. It was....bearable with a bit of salt added. It was surprisingly filling at the end. It did it's job and kept me full...but the process of eating it wasn't that enjoyable....ugh.
That's about it for today. January was a good month overall. A loss is a loss and I'm gonna keep pushing until I reach my goals!
Tomorrow I'll do some measurements and maybe a progress photo. I can't believe it's been 2 months already!
