January Goals Accountability Time:
64 Oz of Water a Day ✔️
Workout 3 Days a Week ✔️ (Most weeks I did 4!)
Drink Alcohol Only 2 Times a Week ✔️ (Alright, one week I did 3 days, so the following week I only did 1)
No Restaurant Food ✔️
As of this morning I've lost 2.5 lbs and 3/4 of an inch from my stomach. Slow and steady but I feel really good about everything thus far! Not bad for 25 days!
Celebration dinner out tomorrow! I'm thinking we are going to try out this awesome place I've been recommended before called The Pacific Kitchen.
thepacific.kitchen/ We've never been before but I feel like we'll both love it. DH seems nervous about it (he hates trying new things but then almost always ends up loving them). They have food from 12 different Asian countries - so I'm about 98% sure he'll love whatever he orders. He could do his basic and get Pad Thai, or he could try something new like Bulgogi or Shabu Shabu. I think I'll try something new and interesting. There are so many vegetarian meals to chose from!
Tomorrow starts a new set of goals!
February Goals:
-7,000 Steps a Day (I figured this would be conducive to my travel schedule this month!)
-64 oz of water a day (I think I'll keep this one going all year!)
-No snooze button (my husband hates when I do this once a year, haha! He even said this morning - you best be quiet next week with your new months goals beginning!)
-Food Prep once a week (Even if it's something as simple as hard boiling eggs for breakfast for the week or doing an instapot of black beans and quinoa to portion out throughout the week)
-Healthy Travel! (I have two trips this month, both of which keep me busy and not my healthiest, so I plan to make specific goals and plans for each trip.)
Starting with my work trip to Boston, I plan to hit the gym in my hotel at least twice that week, not have drinks every night, and go to Whole Foods when I get there so that I can get stuff for some lunches and dinners rather than going out / ordering out every day twice a day.
My second trip is to visit my mom and dad as my mom is having back surgery. My parents have a tendency to have drinks every night, and eat take out when they're busy, my mom cooks like Paula Dean (adds butter to EVERYTHING!). With her being laid out with surgery, I'm planning to bring a few prepped meals for convenient dinners and some of my Daily Harvest packs to keep my breakfasts and lunches on track.
How are you doing on your goals?
