Check-in Time. One month of the new year has come and gone.
January got me back on track and I posted weight loss for the first month of the new year. Now to carry the momentum forward.
I turned 66, January 10, and I feel thankful, grateful, and blessed to have been granted another year to reach all my goals. I am not just talking about weight loss because a lot goes into creating a new lifestyle/mindset for success. You need to remember what went before but you have to set your intentions to look towards the new.
I had a series of doctors appointments in January and they were all impressed with my numbers. My blood pressure and cholesterol numbers still remain stellar without medication. My autoimmune symptoms are totally under control. My white blood cell count remains static (neither increasing or decreasing) and the pain level in my joints is lower and controlled with less medication as well.
Other than OTC, I have not taken any additional medication for pain for over 2 months. My thyroid numbers were excellent as well. In fact, my doctor lowered the dosage of my medication for my hypothyroidism.
The reason for my journey was to return to good health. Of course, I am happy with the weight loss. However, the numbers that have always been my focus were my health numbers. This new lifestyle has provided the changes I was looking for and for that I am glad.
My wish for you is that you continue to have a blessed, prosperous, happy and healthy 2020, Spark Friends.
