Left Vegan after a week and a half...

Monday, February 03, 2020

So Vegan wasn't so good for me. I felt good at first , then I was starving. So I thought now I will do Keto.... but I realize I just need to Eat moderate portions and healthy choices. That is the trick though. I over eat on certain meals.

At the end of this month, leap day, I will be performing a concerto with my orchestra. I wanted to look better. I ended up at where I started at the beginning of the fall. I wonder if I can't work under pressure? Is that adding too much stress for me ? I thought deadlines helped. I guess not.

I had to buy a different dress because when I bought it, I was 10 pounds down from where I am now. I will look better in the new dress.

Disappointed in myself.

I need carbs and protein and sweets. Portion control has to be the way for me too.

Please don't be so hard. It's taken me almost 5yrs to lose 83 pounds. I used to yo-yo diet. At 289 I knew I had to eat normally but use portion control. I eat what I enjoy. You have the right idea just do it. You've got this 💪. Have a fantastic day

Get the new dress and make sure it's something makes you feel beautiful right now , emoticon simply because you are beautiful right now . Please remember that while you are in the process of what works for you , there will be ups and downs . Stay focused on any and all victories you achieve, these will sustain you until the weight starts dropping . ( My husband did keto and lost 20 lbs , I did keto and gained 10 lol) I am restarting , but focusing on the foods I know my body responds well to . Read the articles look at calories in vs calories out . You can do this and you will do this !!!!! We are here to cheer you up and onward !!!! emoticon

Your musicality is what matters for your performance, not your dress size. As a fellow musician I know how much stress can impact your performance so give yourself some Grace and focus on what's truly important for the concert ♥️
