Moving is Done

Now we need to unpack and even after getting rid of So Much Stuff, there's still heaps to go. I am hoping a 2nd look thru I will have a more critical eye and unload as much or more than the 1st go round.
Wiley really digressed with his behavior during the move, running out open doors or gates, barking like mad, crying and crying for no appaent reason, not listening or obeying, just like he was 8 yrs ago after his rescue. He has been exhausting.
Wiley at old house, anxious not to be left behind;
And in his new anti-anxiety bed, a house-warming gift from Tacy:
and it works! The 1st night here the LDS missionaries stopped by and Wiley didn't make a sound, just lifted his head to see who it was, no trying to get out the front door!
My eating goals sure took a nose dive. I have had way too much fast food, one time is too much for me but in the last week, at least 5 visits and I've had 3 sodas Yikes. But now I have a nice kitchen, with an overhead light!, 4 burners that work! (used to have 2 of 4 working), an oven door that doesn't come off in my hands! and a double sink that holds water on both sides! (1 side had a big hole in the last sink). I am beyond excited to be able to cook easily again- I had started to hate to cook. I expect to get back on track tomorrow!
So we've moved and I feel a Very long depression leaving me- I feel lighter just being away from that house! Now I can concentrate on me and not looking for a place, take my time to enjoy what I have! (and one month from today Tacy and I are headed to New Orleans and a cruise!!!)
