Doing What I Said I'd Do

So so glad I pre-tracked my meals yesterday. Knowing I'd be eating out twice in one day I decided to make my decisions before I was ever tempted with the day. Salad with grilled chicken strips for lunch and mostly salad for dinner. At the last moment, I dropped the pre-planned glass of wine and that left me with the wiggle room for a wee bit of cake - and I do mean wee bit. The peaches on top had been frozen right from the orchard - such a better choice than so-so wine.
So glad and kinda proud too. And reassured to know I can make a last minute switch that works so well with ThePlan.
Today I'm giving myself much more wiggle room since I'm again eating out (hopefully the last time for at least a week or so) and food is a big part of the event. trying out a girly la-de-da luncheon tea at a historic house. Tea is bound to be lots of flour based foods - lots of WW points. But I have them to spare. The danger isn't one day of excess - it's day after day of excess.
Yep. Pleased I did what I said I'd do - and hope to be able to say this more and more.
