Progress is slow

I have been at this a very long time and really can't measure success with the scale. I gain and lose the same few pounds. But I have cut back on the amount of sugar I eat each day, I have added more fruits and veggies to my diet. I move more and regularly. All of this is progress. I do backslide, I do lose motivation but I don't quit and I do make progress. I am saying this so all of you know that progress is not just a number on a scale. It is what we do each day to care for ourselves.
Care for yourself, make your day matter and don't let a number define your self-worth.
