One Step at a Time

Sunday, February 16, 2020

Today I got a start on the blocks of the month for 2020. Of course there are 3 color ways and I have to do them all because I can't choose. The one I finished today is called Sparkles. It a bit tone on tone for me. I tend to really like brighter colors and more contrast but I'm sure someone will ask for it as near the end of the year.

The sore under my implant is giving me lots of annoying tenderness. I don't really want to call it pain just really annoying with the teeth on it. I keep finding little tiny pieces of food stuck down there and it hurts to take them out and put them back in. I'm done complaining now anyway until tomorrow.

For dinner I cooked a nice little port roast so I can have some sandwiches and or maybe pork over mashed potatoes with gravy. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

thank fulls
1. visited the baby down the block today...the little porker's name is Camden. They don't live down the block grandma does.
2. Being able to make choices and not have to worry about who else cares
3. raspberries

In the morning the internet people are coming to replace my modem because they say it's old. I don't know enough about them to know if it is or not. Then I can go back to working on the next blocks and as soon as those 2 are done I can make baby blankets for Russell (my 25 great nephew) and little Camden.

Lovely block that you sewed . Two more to go to finish all three.
Sorry to hear your still having problems under one of the implants. Just knowing what you have gone through with the entire process of getting the implants I think I would not get them if they were suggested.
That was nice of the internet people are coming to replace your modem. Last summer we brought one of our modems to the internet place. The fellow ;looked at it and said, you need an updated modem, and gave up the newest one out there at the time.He said ours was over 6 years old, they don't even make that one anymore ( don't know if it was new or used when they installed it where we rented that first winter when they came out to install it, but we brought it over to the place we bought, and my hubby installed it here ).
    Enjoy your Monday tomorrow.
