Ideas for meals that are LOW Carb, LOW Cholestereol?

My Cholesterol is a bit high and I have six months to bring it down or I will need to begin medicine. A couple of years ago I was able to bring down my cholesterol by eating lots of oatmeal. I think that will not work for me this time because I am eating just too many foods that contain cholesterol.

My husband eats LOW CARB because of diabetes. I need to eat LOW Cholesterol.

I like to eat MEAT. I am not a vegetarian but I do like veggies. What are your ideas of MEALS that I can prepare that will be healthy for both my husband and me?? Please don't just list foods but I need ideas for MEALS that I can perpare.

    We enjoy boneless chicken breast (pressure cooked), mashed cauliflower with very little butter and low fat milk, and string beans or steamed broccoli.

    For lunch, it's usually a turkey wrap: Dietz & Watson Gourmet Lite Turkey on Joseph's flax, oat bran, & whole wheat wraps, spread with fresh avocado or mustard and lettuce with pickles.

    Supper tonight was Gardein Classic Meatless Meatballs (non-gmo) with no salt, bpa free crushed tomatoes, quinoa pasta and string beans.

    We also enjoy a large garden salad, lots of veggies, olives, with grilled chicken/low fat feta cheese and home made dressing. It's also good topped with tuna,chickpeas, or salmon.

    Dessert is a large orange or pink grapefruit (Scarletts is delicious!).

    Try eating skinless chicken coated with eggwhite and cornflakes, baked potatoes with low fat yogurt mixed with Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing powdered mix, cob salads with vinegar and olive oil, whole wheat pasta and beef that is 97% fat free along with your veggies

    AOKDIET has some good thoughts. Right now I can't add much. I have been learning to eat a gluten free diet. So I am watching that currently. Once I learn it better, I need to think of other foods.

    Dressing is low fat & low calorie Catilina no salt fresh tomato paste mixed with oil we like extra Virgin Olive oil 1/2 cup and water plus spices as you like

    Easy salad - 4cups your favorite greens or romaine, 1 cup your favorite fruit/oranges & grapefruit is in season here - favorite nut - walnuts, pistachio, pecans about 3/4 cup. We like red onion/chives sliced very thin

    There sell pre made hamburgers that are 50% soy and very lean 95% hamburger here. My other favorite is pumpkin soup. Canned Libby real pumpkin and low fat evaporated can milk = amounts add pumpkin pie spices. Add 3 gelatin packages and make/buy crust
