Day 13/600 - achievement

Today was a great day. Work was just ok, lots of meetings again, but what I am celebrating today is that I made it through another business dinner unscathed.

Didn’t go for the bread basket, didn’t scavenge and finish all the shared appetizers. Changed my carb side to a vegetable side, and did not eat more than I had planned. Was able to hold a conversation without constantly stuffing myself with bread. An hour later, home, I feel great and not sluggish.

I know I can do this, have had these successes in the past. But at times, eating out does not go so well. One wrong move, picking up a bread roll, and the battle is all but lost.

Anyways, if practice makes perfect, this was a good one. Quite pleased with myself. Also, the last 2 weeks, I have been in control and I did not open the fridge, on my way to bed, just to check if there is something that I could snack on before bedtime.

Things are on the up, and I am super excited.

Day 13 - 11.7 lbs down - only 188.3 lbs or 587 days to go to 220lbs
