Negativity Demons

Do you run every day? So many different resources and so much conflicting advice. Some say every other day, and some gurus say you should run every day and others say four times a week. I'm pretty sure the best answer if just to "Do It".
Thirty years ago I was a US Army Sargent. I ran and did PT (Physical Training) a minimum of 3 times a week and trust me...it was never easy. So, if I had a hard time doing it then, what makes me think I can possibly pull off a 5K? I hated running and I barely passed my 2 mile run back then?
Yes, you guessed it. The negativity demons are back and trying to derail me. I am not going to listen to them. Unlike 30 years ago, I am not setting myself a time limit. If I walk the whole thing, I will have reached a great accomplishment. Heck, just signing up is the first positive step I have taken in years! I'm training, I'm on the treadmill at least 4 times a week and I am working on endurance and distance. Currently I am doing 1.5 mile a day and next week I'm going to boost that up a quarter mile.
So stay tuned! It's going to be a bumpy ride!!
