I Officially Apologize....

Saturday, February 29, 2020

Well, it's 71 degrees outside. Beautiful blue skies, a light breeze, and there are lovely wild Primroses blooming on the roadside. That's the joy of living on the Texas Gulf Coast.

This winter it hasn't even dipped down to freezing once. Actually, here on the water where I live, we didn't even get a frost.

And, so, my fellow Sparkers who live up north, I officially apologize. For the below freezing temps, and the snow that y'all have to drive in, shovel, and freeze your buns in. I can't imagine the hard work and hardship you all have to endure.

While I know the weather is not my fault, I still feel a little guilty that I'm enjoying Spring while y'all are freezing up where you live. lol

Well, my precious pooch and I are going on a walk. She's all excited and bouncing off the walls so I better get the leash and get going.

Sending all of you warm, Springtime thoughts. I hope it helps.

As a former Minnesotan, I am enjoying the weather now for the past 4 years in the Rio Grande Valley year round. My husband and I do love the warmer winter weather. We put up with the hotter summers because we know that come winter we won't be shoveling, scraping ice off he sidewalks and certainly not freezing our butts off.
