March into March

Saturday, February 29, 2020

we had an extra day this year for leap year.

Hard to believe that it is the end of another month so time to reflect on February and make plans for March.
I have been active and spending time organizing these things I did not have time to do. I dug out all the old photos and have put the ones I want to keep in albums and thrown away lots.

There were multiple pictures and lots of views of holidays that could have been anywhere so I have kept those that have people in them and a few views. I am still going through the digital photos and deleting some and printing a few selective ones. I also had some old videos that we had taken 30 years ago and sent them away and they have been transferred to DVD. The quality of some is poor and no sound on one such a shame but still appreciate the memories we have saved.
Our grandsons had their 2nd birthday mid month so we went to visit them for a week (family live 250 miles away).

We stayed in a travel lodge nearby so had a little break and we did some painting and decorating and also helped clear their garage so very satisfying to be able to help. Ate badly the week with family but ok the rest of the month.
Weight has stayed the same. I have managed to close all my rings for the month on my apple watch, 30 mins exercise, standing once an hour for 12 hrs and burning 390 cals daily.

Have done a little gardening but weather terrible last two weeks so much rain. I have planted 3 types of plant seeds and at present they are in my laundry room while they germinate.

Keeping active aim to close all rings on my apple watch daily.
Marching in March getting extra steps in by marching on the spot at every opportunity.

Pahla B’s 31 day fitness videos plus walking each day
My gardening and Spring cleaning will add to my fitness
will be good to spend time out doors.

Continue to eat a reasonable diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
I am cutting down my snacks as I have started more grazing and as I do more home cooking I am making puddings and cakes which my husband loves. So easy to eat much more than you need.

It is mothering Sunday this month I will not see my mum but will phone her on the day and I will visit my daughter in London for lunch.
Spring is in the air and equinox is on the 20th. I will start my Spring cleaning which I enjoy

the clocks go forward here on the last Sunday of the month. Hopefully I will get out in the garden more.
Several friends are keen to meet up so will have a few lunches out and catch up girly talk.

I am reading Agatha Christie and hope to read all her books this year.
Looking forward to a positive month

I love the photographs of your family, both old and new! And I'm jealous of your organizing...my photos make no rhyme or reason and personal ones are mixed in with the much greater number of photos I've taken for painting! Keep up the good work with your planning. You're an inspiration!
