Day 15/600 - food prep

Great, productive day. Spent most of the day cooking and prepping food, for the dog and myself. Have been really good and didn’t “taste” all day. In the past I coulld eat enough calories by just tasting and grazing all day.

Enough food prepped for next week. This week cooked osso bucco, veal shot ribs, pork shanks. Again, haven’t cooked these in a while, so looking forward to eating them.

Ate as planned, got my water in. All good today. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow.



Day 15 - 16.7 lbs down - only 183.3 lbs or 585 days to go to 220lbs

    It sounds as if it was a good week for you, and you're prepped and powerful and ready to do it again. I hear you on the "tasting," I used to say I could eat an entire dinner just while I was cooking. But, Slider, it's a good thing I live on the opposite side of the country from you, otherwise I'd be knocking on your door at dinnertime. Our European mothers raised us to savor the "other parts" of meat that might take longer to cook but are worth the time. (I'm still rationing the lamb necks and kidneys I got from the "lamb lady" at last summer's farmers market....)
