I know I do!!! Why is it so hard to stay motivated on this weight loss journey?? It shouldn't be hard, it is all laid out there in black and white. Exercise more and eat healthier. We know the rules.
So what gets in my way? Bad habits, lack of motivation, emotions, work, my mom with dementia, the list goes on. We all have these life challenges. We all have things that get in our way. Alone it is hard to keep any focus on our health because that is what it is about -our health.
We need someone who understands our struggles and can give us support on this journey. It can be done. Read just a couple of the success stories.
So for me I have 1 person in my town and multiple people online in spark that support me and motivate me. This is a judgement free zone. We have all been there one way or another.
So if you would like that support and motivation join the Spring 5% Challenge. There are different groups for different interests.
You "visit" different areas in the world. To get there we have to log miles as a team. Miles of course are exercise minutes. And whether you log 10 miles a day or 120 miles a day, you help the team get there. Everyone has different things they can count as exercise depending what level YOU are at. We are all at different levels.
There are 2 extra things we log a week to build healthier habits and make us think.
They are all things we know but it is more fun as a group and you do make friends on the way. Even if you just need one buddy to help keep yourself on track or if you are that person who likes completion come check out the team.
Now of course I think the best team is Walkers, Runners, Joggers and Gadgeteers. We have our ups and down's and not usually in the top 3 but there are a lot of wonderful people on the team.
