"Now matters more then any other time in your life." ~Hal Elrod

Day 3 of Wisconsin shut down is history!

I choice to stay home over going with my son and GF to my parent's former home to fix his muffler. Maybe I should have gone with but I didn't want to sit in my parent's empty house by myself while those 2 were outside. They were to go to a local cafe for take out but by the time they called to order, the place was closed. His GF wasn't happy. I explained this is a small town, cafes close early. This is not the cities. So they went to DQ.

I was sad because all week I have realized my son doesn't know me and does seem to really care to know me!

After GF left, I tried to talk to him but it was more strained. When he told me his GF went through major training at work how not to get the virus-I just about lost it! If she really cared for my son, she would stay away from him at this point of time. I woke this morning to read on MSN home page a NYC front line nurse dies after texting his sister he was OK. A nurse is more protected then a worker at Costco! He use to be such a smart kid!

I have a cousin who is a writer. She did a live FB from a empty bookstore Thursday night promoting her new book. While they were gone, I watched it then we messaged each other. I 'unloaded' on her. She has no kids but understood. We grew up together her grandma and my grandpa were very close siblings.

I did look up our 11th president James K Polk on u-tube. I find it interesting that some presidents there is a lot about and some not so much. This was not so much. They showed a photo of him before he took office and after he took office. How he aged was amazing! He was the 1st president to take office that was younger then 50. He died a month after taking office. They don't have a lot of stuff from him. They are going to move his body to be buried some place else. It seems as if this was common in the 1st 11 presidents to move their bodies. I forgot which president's body was moved 4 times!

I read in bed last night. I am just about finished with the 2nd book I have checked out. It's book 2 of a teapot mystery series and I will be scrap booking the recipe at the end of the book today or tomorrow.

Son heads back today. I am so very numb.

Onward to day 4. Rain may or may not be in the forecast for today. Snow for tonight into tomorrow morning.
