How changeable the weather is lately. The snow had completely vanished by the time I got up. There was an edge to the wind. While the sun was out and it was nearly 50 degrees, being outside was uncomfortable. I didn't stay out long. I am having trouble keeping track of the days. Self-quarantining is giving a sameness to time that I can't say I like. It's Saturday or Caturday as one of my newsletters calls it. Tomorrow is trash day. That's something different to do. I was reading an editorial to that said sheltering in place was a bad thing because it disrupted something the authors called the specification of labor because businesses were being destroyed because people couldn't go out in public and work. These were economists. I think they missed the memo that workers (labor) dying was just as destructive to the economy. I guess they were only reading the headlines where people 60 and older were most at risk and didn't read the first paragraph where the high risk group also included people of any age with other health problems, like asthma or diabetics. So easy to think only the elderly are at risk of dying.

The weather is the same here. 40-50 mph winds yesterday and today. No snow, just lots of rain and storms on Friday and yesterday. I keep telling myself that my grandparents survived the flu pandemic of 1918-1920, my parents survived bread lines and shortages during the depression, and that we will survive this. I think growing up poor and doing without has its advantages. I learned how to be creative with resources, I was hoping against hope, that I would never have to live like that again. While it won't be pleasant, at least I know that I can do it.

    Stay safe. Be well. emoticon

Thanks for the great share. Things are about the same here except we have no wind.
