Discovered something kind of cool yesterday. Started raining on my way from the shed to my house and instead of walking faster I accidentally started to jog and then proceeded to a slow 1/8 mile run uphill to my house. Never dawned on me after this 2nd hip replacement I can actually run slow, maybe its more of a jog for the first time in over 20 years. Kind of exciting as I can now add some jogging to my hiking pain free.

I have been stumbling to get on track with my plan. Knowing the most important part of the plan is tracking my food accurately everyday being probably the most important part for the rest of the plan to fall in place. The focus from the past 10 days has been just that. Establishing the routine of tracking all my food accurately each day. With no other requirement I still failed and keep on trying. Since it has to be established and in place for the rest of the plan to work.

I have one day in a row, Friday was a very good day. Goal is to track food everyday for a week before worrying things about intake. If I can make tracking all food everyday become automatic as in non negotiable I get the needed data to update my spreadsheet. Weighing myself everyday is the 2nd part of the equation. Once I get enough data I will know exactly where my calorie burn is during my normal and very high active days and can adjust my intake accordingly. Because of my failure to track food accurately the past four years while becoming at least twice as active as I ever have been. I have no idea what my daily burn rates are on my high active days. Also tracking food accurately everyday makes me much more aware of the food I am eating, make better choices, less calorie intake. Firmly believe tracking food accurately every day will make a huge impact and very possible the key to unlocking the roadblock from the healthy weight I am at today to the healthy weight that is needed for joint health longevity the next 30 years. 330 is much too heavy, fortunate to have the healthy lifestyle I enjoy today. 250-260 is an imperative goal to enjoy at least the same lifestyle in the future.

Day 2 & 3 in row this weekend is goal. With serious goal it turns into a 1000 in a row. Hope everyone is doing well and being smart with precautions against covid-19.
