On and off all day I've sewn more masks. I've hit 50 ready to be sent to people asking for them. I even have 8 of the special ones that hold filters that the local hospitals are asking for. I've been cutting them 4 at a time and the first 4 took forever but the second 4 went much better.
This whole mess is so very frustrating for those of us following the recommendations completely and those that are thinking that nothing is going to hurt them. Heard the governor of one state in a comment on CNN today he said he didn't understand that you could pass the virus before you had symptoms until 24 hours ago. He has got to have his head buried in the sand.
1. most of the ice from the storm a couple of days ago melted today.
2. Buck is under the impression that I'm ignoring him...while I sew
3. my daughter is having and on-line silent auction the end of April for the organization she is director of and asked for a donation from me today. When I suggested masks she laughed at me. I'll send her a baby quilt this year.
Tomorrow I'm going to finish the ones my brother asked for and try to make an extra dozen to give the school bus driver to hand out to kids. Koffee putting them in baggies with washing instructions is a good idea. Too bad I don't have any printer ink.
