May 1 2020: COVID Blessings
Friday, May 01, 2020
I feel almost guilty saying this, but COVID restrictions have been very good for my family. We're very fortunate that we can both work from home, and also that our distant family members are still healthy (so far). The restrictions have also made us rethink our priorities and how we use our time (like serious meal planning and only one grocery trip per week). I never realized how much time we spent doing errands. Now that time can be spent on other pursuits.
On the weight front, we're eating more home-cooked food and getting more sustained exercise. Both are helping my digestive throughput, which has been a big issue for me for almost a year now. I still hope to get my scale weight back to 115, but at least I'm heading in the right direction now. Here are the details:
Since April 1, my scale weight is down only 0.3, but the trend is down from about 0.6 (from about 121.2).
I started working from home on March 11. Since then, scale weight is down 1.9 pounds and trend is down about 1.5 pounds.
