Hi Everyone

I hope you are all continuing to survive our crazy times and making the best of it.

I've been doing really good with my fitness minutes. My current streak is on Day 162. I can tell the benefits are strongly kicking in.

Today's highlights were:
* Exercise bike for 20 minutes
* Sweeping the floors as fast as I could for 10 minutes
* Taking Flash for a short walk/hike

How about you?

Chris

Doing pretty good here in Michigan. Today, I am doing laundry and picking up in the front room, hopefully enough to vacuum it. I've been a little bit down a few days since this virus has come about but I talk once a week with a counselor, enjoy when the sun shines. I want to take a walk later today when it warms up. I'm charging my fitness tracker now.

    Have a great day Chris!

I so miss the personal interaction with other people. Hard to stay optimistic when you see the same 4 walls day after day. But will do what I have to do to survive.

Doing well here in Nebraska. On the farm, we don't notice the quarantine issues as much. We're used to them anyway. It's spring, gardens to plant, children to care for, baby animals to play with, birds to watch. My goal now is to do something nice for someone and to teach our little great nephew, so we color, write a letter (he dictates, but signs and does prefix), and mail a letter to someone each day. We pick between his address book and ours. He wrote his first love letter about dead mice yesterday! He's 5!!!! I count my blessings each day, AND to add to them all, the niece will have a new baby on Monday if all goes well.

Currently at 19 days of exercising, lots of gardening work. Never knew that gardening used so many muscles or could make you sweat.

Hi Chris...so good to hear from you! Hubby and I are doing well...getting out for a walk in our neighborhood when weather permits. I still need to take Candy (cane) as still recouping from my fusion surgery I had in January and very THANKFUL I had that surgery then and not in the hospital now, as I wouldn't have been able to anyway as only life threatening symptoms are taking us to the hospital. Needless to say, I appreciate having had been in rehab for 13 days as well!

I also enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, and hubby and I play games like cards, Monopoly, Parcheesi and Dominoes daily for about an hour or so every afternoon! I also make a few phone calls almost daily, especially to those older friends from church. Those who live alone and are lonely and even more now that family cannot visit them.

I am praying for all those on the frontline and all the people who have contracted this horrific virus! Y'all stay safe!

Good to hear you are doing well. As a new returnee, I am glad to be back and doing well. These first couple of weeks I have added 10-20 workouts on days I would normally not exercise between runs. These workouts have also added variety that I would not normally do, i.e. strength training, yoga, pilates.

Been mostly indoors, so I have found some good workout videos targeted to people in their " Fabulous Fifties", I am way past that, but the workouts are very doable and my goal is to do at least 2 a day.

Good job, Chris! I had a "walking meeting" inside and then a "catch the runaway guinea pig" in the yard. The kids pet escaped his outdoor enclosure. Fun stuff.

Today is a grateful day. The people taking over my late husband's software are finalizing everything. A client that was a lot of hard work (that my late husband did most of) is moving to a new server where it will be someone elses job to take care of things (instead of me), and I found something really important that made doing this change much easier in a letter he left for me. I just happened to wonder if what I needed was there - looked and wow, it really was there. So today has had a lot to do with my husband and taking care of things that have long needed to be dealt with. And in between support chats with techs I've been walking circuits and getting all my steps in!

DH and I are doing well. Able to continue daily walks, which our fur baby, Miss Lilly needs, so that's good exercise.

DD (works in a nursing home) had been in lock down in her facility, but that is done now. STILL working killer hours, but she's fine.

DS (a chef) is furloughed, but hoping to restart this month. It's been tough.

BUT above all, we are well. That's the bottom line!

    Glad you're doing well.

Sounds like you are doing well Chris. Happy to hear this.
At first I started cleaning closets and that took awhile. Now have a box to give to St.Vinvent dePaul or
the Catholic center. They both need clothing for needy people. I did go down two sizes so not necessary to hold onto clothes. Next I started reading mysteries again and that has been fun. Had been walking outdoors 5 days a week and loved it, but then I got a stress fx on my rt foot....so the podiatrist had me in a shoe for two weeks to help his this and less outdoor walks......Seems to be better. Have been doing dvd exercising 4x a week and now my rec center has started to have on ZOOM classes again for all of us Silver sneakers so that is great. Zumba gold started Friday and will be done online M+F and then Silver sneaker will be T/TH with both of our usual instructors ....so this is WONDERFUL for us.

Take care Chris and stay safe and well. emoticon emoticon

All is well here. When the weather permits (no rain or snow) my husband and I have been going out for walks. We walk about 45 minutes each time. The social distancing has made it so we are usually alone with our walks. Sometimes we see a couple people but not often. Waiting for nicer weather here in PA so we can get out and do more.
