Today is my day. It stormed last night and I did not sleep as well as I would have liked. I was also up very late finishing a paper that was due early this morning. My alarm went off a few times, and the snooze button was my best friend for a while.

I was worried that would happen though. So, I put on a few alarms. I like to leave for my run around 6:30am, so at 6:26am, I forced myself to jump out of bed. It wasn't easy, but I did it!

One way to keep myself in the early morning routine (since I am totally not a morning person) is to pack my workout box as thee last thing I do the night before. I put it on the bathroom counter, so I have no reason not to change first thing. I think this is the best idea I've ever used since it works better than other methods I've tried. Not having to think about going into the closet and choosing which workout gear for the day is a lifesaver. There's even a place for my headphones and hair tie in the sole of a shoe :)

After it's packed, it lives in a perfectly suited space at the bottom of the linen cabinet until the next night before a run. I am already half-packed for tomorrow. I just need my sweater and sports bra out of the wash. Some mornings are burning up, but some like today are still chilly. I'm not sure how Monday will be.

Another win? My run today marked day 18 of not missing a scheduled workout! I don't count my rest days (Saturdays), so it has officially been 18 days of sticking to my plan since I decided to start tracking. In the world, today I would become an adult, haha!
