Hurray I am Overweight! 5 Slimfasts to Go!

Yesterday I hit the magic number! My Body Mass Index was 30 which is Obese, and now my BMI is 29.7 classified as Overweight. I haven't seen that number since 1997! Wow it feels like I accomplished something big!
I have been dieting many years with lots of ups and downs. In the spring of 2018 my regular doctor was away so I saw a clinic doctor. She made the statement 'You have to lose weight!' I was shocked, that wasn't why I was there, but I heard her loud and clear. I had never had a doctor be that direct and that is what I needed.
'You have to lose weight!' did it. I told her I didn't know of a weight loss doctor (and not one of the weight loss quacks), and she said she didn't either but knew there was a doctor at the university who was doing an obesity study. That got me searching for information about the study, and I ultimately stumbled across the little known Medical Weight Management program, which is even covered by BC Medical Health. I started Dec. 5th 2018, and have stuck with it. It's been a bumpy road but I have lost another 42 pounds on the program. I attended group classes that included nutrition, cooking, exercise, stress management, motivation, and topics covered at the Mayo clinic, etc.
Along the way I've had many happy milestones.
Got into onderland.
Made to the 170's this week.
Today I am 178.0 pounds.
I am not longer borderline diabetic.
Weigh 21 pounds less than my husband.
I weigh 37 less pounds than my driver's licence.
Been a TOPS biggest loser several times.
BMI changed from obese to overweight this week!
I have officially lost 64 pounds since I joined Sparkpeople 1/24/2008!
Spring Challenge 4/11/20 182.8 and today 5/28/2020 178.0.
Food. Slimfast, tea, coffee, water, chicken broth, Kool Aid slushies 0 calories, and low calorie Jello. I am staying out of the kitchen, I am on a mission.
Sleep. Yep still taking a sleeping pill to stay asleep and out of the kitchen.
Exercise. Walk Rebel and at 11 AM, 5 of us are doing a youtube exercise class each from our own homes.
NOOM - link something you like to do with something you don't like to do - link a reward to a duty. 1) I walk the dog and listen to an audio book, and sometimes if I go with hubby I can chat with him. 2) go to bed earlier and watch a TV show 3) Slimfast and good weigh ins this week
Our Covid-19 provincial status is still in a state of emergency for another 2 weeks which means the all social and financial supports are still in place - no evictions, income supplements, etc. The schools open June 1st. Stay close to home, use the parks, but playgrounds are still closed off, and carefully increase social interactions with small groups of 6. Continue physical distancing, and in mid-June there will be an assessment of these measures to slowly reopen the province, and evaluate its effect on the spread of the disease.
Our daughter is still our shopper, but we did a few online purchases, some curbside pickups at Home Depot for gardening supplies (does not include plants), and had a few coffee drive throughs,
Today - tackle another kitchen cleaning session, the dog food kitchen cupboard. Exercise at 11 AM with my friends online while we watch/do a youtube channel. Figure out my sorority wind up and who I shop for.
