Restart! ☕️☀️ Time passes whether I meet my goals or not.

Today I woke up and felt a wave of Groundhog’s Day wash over me. It’s been a looong time since I left SP to work long hours, help family members, and jam-pack my life with responsibilities... and yet, today, I’m at the same place—healthwise, weight-wise, & fitness level. I see time passing, I see myself growing older, I see I won’t have a better quality of life unless I make the time and effort to make it for myself.
So today I begin again. I weigh 230 pounds. My goal is 150—with healthy muscle mass, stronger bones, and much less fat. Am following a lean & green diet model, with both Whole Foods and some bariatric-based prepackaged foods (From dietdirect, Bariatric food source, Atkins, Premier Protein, Netrition). I am incorporating OA, in-home exercise (beginner DVD’s, streaming low-impact aerobics, a Nordic Trak ski machine—just put it together) and walking.. and of COURSE it’s rolling thunderstorms just as soon as I get my tennies laced up 😐.
Am so inspired and motivated by reading everyone’s sharing, experiences, successes & struggles! Thank you all for creating this supportive community!
