who commented on my feed regarding my new part time job.
I never thought this retired lady would be working for someone else again.
Things being 'tight' though I had been perusing the job boards for part time jobs.
I landed one at the Aldis warehouse near me. I am the 'nurse' who screens employees as they enter the premises. I ask if there's been any change in their answers to the symptoms questions and take their temperature.
If the temperature is high or they show symptoms, I radio the supervisor.
I was told to bring my tablet or whatever as there is plenty of downtime.
I only work a few hours: 5 AM to 8 AM every day except Tuesday and Sunday. Not alot, but the pay if $14 per hour.
May be able to slowly catch up on the credit card bills I should have paid off before I retired. My rent will go up, too.
