I Think That I Do Too Much Thinking

Friday, June 19, 2020

This Morning when I was making breakfast I was thinking that I have made a lot of headway with getting the attic stuff cleared out of my home. Then all of a sudden I was thinking about my storage house and how all of that needed to be cleared out..... then I thought of my craft closet and all of the projects that I will never work on and that needs to be cleared out..... !!!!!!!!!!

I am thinking I need to have a serious talk with my thought processes.

May your day be blessed.

One thing at a time!! Bask in the glow of having done a great job in your attic. When finished you can think about another project. You got this!! emoticon

Better to have a serious talk with all the stuff in those various locations, about whether you need it. Then talk to your thought processes before you make any more purchases! The fact is, you are doing a fabulous job of clearing out your house - and clearing out a lot of head spaces in the process. What great progress you have made already!

And if it is any consolation, you are not alone. In this as in other struggles, sometimes we feel alone, as though we are the only ones who stash things or hold on to memories or whatever. The fact is: there are MILLIONS of us out here in the same situation, getting older, dealing with "stuff," and feeling some sort of angst or guilt and sense of being the only ones in that predicament. The fact is: you are not alone in feeling that way. You ARE, however, one of the few who is willing to admit it to the outer world, which gives hope and encouragement to others. Three cheers for you!!! Gold stars in you crown!

And thank you, from many people you will never get to know.

FOCUS. One step at a time. Maybe make a master list of stuff that needs to be done to keep somewhere. Then you will know you won't forget and won't have your mind bringing things up.
