I a man 10 days into a weight loss challenge. It's in fb with som local moms and some of their connections. It's a $20 buy in. Winner gets 80%. I didn't join with the sole focus on winning $400, but I joined to have support with people I know. It started the day before my annual exam. In that 10 days ive lot nearly all of my "covid 13." I'm not strictly Keto yet, but my carbs are veggies and occasional fruit. This week will tighten that up. With all the other things going on, I just couldn't risk l blown Keto flu, esp because my local stores have been out of my fav pickles. So in addition to being under 50g carbs, I have cut out diet soda, and cut out late night snacking, which is made easier by going to bed earlier. So while I'm not in bed at 9, I'm asleep before midnight, which is HUGE for me. Insomnia has been an unwelcome guest in my life for a long time. Stress, anxiety, depression, etc make it so much harder to go bed and to sleep. So it's been hard. But I'm making it a priority and am feeling better. I'm able to fall asleep without melatonin or being so exhausted that I can't stay awake any longer, which is how the past 3+ months have been.
And, on that note, time to head to bed.
