To Weigh Or Not To Weigh???

I used to be such a fanatic about weighing myself every single day. When I did weigh, I was more aware of what I was eating and how much I was moving around each day. I was self aware.
I looked on the old calendar and where I had logged my last weight on June 1st of this year, and....... I had gained 1.8 lbs. in that short period of time.
That may not seem like a lot of weight, but if I WERE to continue on this same weight path; at the end of the year, I would be up 18.25 lbs. at the end of a years time. WOW
I now realise that I will need to do something to be back in control.
I know that I am an emotional eater and I frequently do not feel like cooking or preparing the proper foods. So I will have to put back into place the plans that have worked for me in the past.
